Just her, her friend, and a few other women.<\/p>\n
They told us they’d be back in about two hours.<\/p>\n
My wife didn’t really want to go at first.<\/p>\n
She was tired, and we’d had a long week.<\/p>\n
I encouraged her.<\/p>\n
\u201cGo have fun. I’ll stay with our daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n
She smiled, kissed me goodbye, and left.<\/p>\n
About an hour later, my phone buzzed.<\/p>\n

\u201cPlease come pick me up. I’m drunk, and there’s a man sitting next to me.
