I LET HER TALK—BECAUSE I ALREADY KNEW. THEN I PUT A FOLDER ON THE TABLE THAT SHE HAD NEVER SEEN. WHAT I’D DISCOVERED ABOUT MY HUSBAND, HER, AND THE MONEY THEY’D BEEN HIDING MADE THE AFFAIR LOOK LIKE THE SMALLEST BETRAYAL OF ALL.
